Last summer we were given a ton of baby clothes by our cousins Amanda and James. Amongst them was a little piece of family history. Somehow Amanda had ended up with this sweater which was made by our grandmother for her first grandchild, our cousin Matthew. I find it amazing that a baby sweater made for a cousin twelve years older than I am is still being worn by a baby in our family. We will defiantly be hanging on to this treasure until it is our turn to pass it on.
Lets see... Matthew is 11 years younger than I am. 54-11=43. A 43 year old sweater and still looking beautiful. Of course Ruth makes anything look good.
